The external walls are of cavity construction with an external skin that is part brickwork, part boarding and part tile
hanging. At the rear there is a cracked tile that will need to be replaced and to the brickwork beneath there is
evidence of re-pointed diagonal cracking. The brickwork is plumb and there is no recurrence of the cracking,
however, the re-pointing may be recent.
It is not possible to determine the nature of the original movement during one short inspection. To definitively
confirm the nature of any movement a programme of monitoring over a 6-12 month period would be necessary to see
whether the original cracking is ongoing.
