Flat roof to front porch Outbuilding roof
Details / Defects / Issues: Yes. Items of concern have been listed below.
The roof is dual pitched and covered in the original concrete tiles. The ridge tile lifts slightly at the party walls which is
likely due to original settlement of the structure and two tiles on the rear left hand party wall just below the ridge do
not lie perfectly flat. This has resulted in a wide gap with the adjacent tiles which could admit rainwater. We would
recommend that a roofer remove and re-lay the ridge tile on the party wall along with the tiles two rows below it to
realign the tiles.
There is an asphalt roof to the front porch which is in good condition. The roofs to the rear outbuilding are also in
asphalt.
