Making progress measurable
• Routine need, multitasking: May be so busy managing
multiple simultaneous demands that there is little time for
innovation.
• Fact Orientation: may develop ideas based on intuition or gut
feeling and may be frustrated when data is requested on
the feasibility of those ideas.
• Realistic thinking: Is in the development of solutions
possibly idealistic and less focused on practical feasibility.
• Reflective Thinking: Sometimes supports ideas or makes
recommendations without really understanding the
underlying issues.
• Work Intensity: Has a healthy sense of urgency and should
motivate others in a timely manner to tackle continuous
improvement or innovation projects.
From the interaction of competencies and personality
traits ASSESS generates a development report, in which
hints and implementation tips can be found, what the
manager can do in order to close competence gaps, i.e.
gaps between the required target competencies and the
actual existing actual competencies.
On the one hand, the tool makes recommendations in the report as
to which personality traits the manager should develop further in order
to build up or expand a competence. And at the same time, the
company can check and decide which further training measures they
should attend and which training or coaching sessions they should
complete in order to achieve better performance.
