CENTER FOR ENTREPRENEURIAL INNOVATION AT GATEWAY
COMMUNITY COLLEGE
The Center of Entrepreneurial Innovation project, built for Maricopa County Community College District, included
the new construction of a 12,616-square foot business incubator building on the GateWay Community College
campus in Phoenix, Arizona. The facility accommodates offices, dry and wet labs, and conference rooms for
business research and development. The Incubator was constructed of ground concrete, a ground faced CMU
block and copper panel combination exterior skin, kynar coated metal panels, and detailed aluminum curtain
wall systems and multiple parking lots to service the needs of the incubator facility. Due to CORE’s construction
efforts in conjunction with the City of Phoenix, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and a Federal EDA Grant, the Center for
Entrepreneurial Innovation project cultivated a legacy to inspire and connect the entrepreneur community for long
term business growth in Arizona. The project received LEED Silver Certification upon completion.
