SCHOOL OF MEDICINE AT UNIVERSITY OF
NEVADA, LAS VEGAS

The School of Medicine project, completed for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas,
involved 19,000 square feet of renovations to the existing Building B. Building B is
located in the heart of the Las Vegas Medical District, and the building houses
state-of-the-art learning spaces, small group meeting rooms, and problem-
based learning centers. Work on the active campus consisted of the removal
and replacement of selected walls, ceilings, flooring, and mechanical and electrical
systems, as well as new paint and casework throughout. Due to CORE’s proactive
preconstruction planning, and thorough construction management, the Owner
received $81,940 in project savings at the project’s completion.
