MCCARRAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
TERMINAL 1 ROOF REPLACEMENT
The Terminal 1 Roof Replacement at McCarran International Airport project, built for
the Clark County Department of Aviation, included the demolition and replacement of
a 156,000 square foot airport terminal roof located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The facility
houses the Lower Ticketing and Lower Baggage Claim areas of Terminal 1. The airport
terminal roof was constructed of a concrete foundation and a steel structural frame.
The exterior consisted of stucco and metal panels and an 80-millimeter single play roof.
The project also features replacements of the heating ventilation and air conditioning
units for the Lower Ticketing section of the terminal. Due to CORE’s construction efforts,
the Terminal 1 Roof Replacement at McCarran International Airport provides exterior
shelter and an enhanced building interior environment for travelers and airport staff.
