Since for any commercial building atrium plays an important role for overall
building circulation . For this complex, the client wanted commercial space up to 3-
4 storey and then remaining portion for office building . So, atrium was designed
up to 3 rd floor only and then it is planned to covered by metal decking and above
its different recreational space like swimming pool ,spa, gym, restaurant etc. shall
be designed.

LEARNINGS

• Frontage exposure of commercial is very important so always maximize it.
• Angular cutouts can maximize frontage exposure.
• Billboard should face maximum to the incoming traffic.
• Byelaws can sometime govern the building shape. And sometime difficulties
became opportunity for the unique design approach,Taking each restriction as
opportunity.
• Atrium can be covered with metal decking along with steel beam supporting it.
