WORKING TOGETHER
to help others
Like police officers everywhere, we entered this profession
to help others, and over time we have found different ways
to do this. In April of 2021, we donated one of our
decommissioned vehicles to an agency in Texas that
needed another vehicle for patrol.
In 2020, a local company was generous enough to bring us
several boxes of hand sanitizer for distribution to the public
during the pandemic. In June of 2020, we learned a Fort Worth
officer was struck by a vehicle. At that time, we began accepting
donations for that officer from people as they came in to pick up
hand sanitizer and those funds were later taken to the FWPD.
The last two years, our department has also
participated in a polar plunge, raising $1,400 for
the Child Advocacy Center and over $2,000 for
the North Texas Food Bank.
In March of this
year, Chief
Jackson, Chief
Crawford from
next door, and
Officer Sauter
participated in a
free throw
contest to help
fight hunger.
