Chapter 7: How To Come Up

               With A Workable Diabetic

               Nutrition Plan

               ____________________________________

The groundwork of any diabetes management plan is to focus
on weight control, diet and good nutrition.

Of all plans created, controlling diabetes means controlling how much
food you consume, so you maintain a good weight and keep your
blood sugar level stable. It’s not easy to get control over your bad
habits, but it’s a way to reverse type 2 diabetes. Why is it so difficult?

The nutritional aspects of diabetes are complex, which is why you
should always consult with a registered nutritionist or dietician to
develop a sensible diabetic nutrition plan.

Any plan you develop should be based on goals as laid out by the
American Diabetes Association and its Evidence-Based Nutrition
Principles and Recommendations for Treatment and Prevention of
               Diabetes and Related Complications.
