What Does A Diabetic Nutrition Meal Plan Consists
Of?
Every diabetic nutrition meal plan will not be the same, as it’s based
on five key things:
• Lifestyle
• Food preferences
• Cultural background
• Ethnic background
• Normal eating times
People who are doing insulin therapy have some flexibility in their
meals’ content and timing, as they can adjust their insulin dosage to
correlate with their lifestyle – exercise and diet.
Thanks to the progress in insulin management, it’s allowed people to
take advantage of the flexible schedule. In the past, people had to
adjust their schedule to meet the insulin duration and actions.
