voice their opinions, etc., etc. You get the point. It is all just
ridiculous and needs to stop.

Might, which is certainly useful at times, does NOT always
make right. It is everyone's job to not encourage this
horrible thing and help to find a way to eradicate it from the
earth.

Human Cultures and Traditions;
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, and What We Can Do
About It

It is unfortunate that we still carry so many destructive
cultural aspects that have proliferated over the years. Male
Dominance is a big one but there are many we need to rid
ourselves of.

One of the biggest problems humans have is that we give
so little thought to reproduction. We seem to give more
thought to purchasing a used car than planning our families.
This is because so many aspects of society continue to
perpetuate the myth that all children come as an
uncontrollable act of God or something silly like that, and
that you just cannot deny that and must unquestionably
seek your unavoidable destiny as child-bearing people.

Everywhere you look, families, religions, local customs, so
many institutions seem to be so happy to pressure young
couples to bear children indiscriminately — and if you
don't do it, there is something truly wrong with you. This,
of course, is nonsense and very simply, a manifestation of
human arrogance and runaway ego...and maybe a little bit
of Misery Loves Company. Simply put, not everyone was
cut out to be a parent and that's OK. There are plenty of
other ways to live a good, productive life, and contribute to
the community and leave the world a better place.
