PUTRAJAYA, January 2022 – Transfer of
Knowledge (ToK) Training aims to share
knowledge on a task or role from the NIISe
Project Team to the officers involved. The
training is required in ensuring the officers
involved get to apply new knowledge and
skills that were acquired to increase the
organization’s efficiency.

Highlight during training session

Early this year, the Information Security Management System (ISMS) Transfer of Knowledge Training
was held physically from 25 until 27 January 2022 at Balora Perdana Hall, National Registration
Department, Putrajaya. The training was conducted for three (3) days with participation from Pasukan
Petugas Khas (PPK) KDN, Information Technology and Record Division (BTMR) JIM, and Subject
Matter Expert (SME) JIM. The training was aimed at providing an introduction to System Management
Safety (ISMS) in accordance MS ISO/IEC 27001:201 standards to manage and protect information
security in line with its requirements and expectations which are confidentiality, integrity, and
readiness.

The participants involved were given
exposure to the importance of information
security processes through an organized and
systematic approach to assessing
information security risks and improvements
in NIISe. Furthermore, they were also given
awareness of the threats and risks and how to
increase the information security of the
department.
