The thick tablets are:
1- Easily broken, for examples, the capping and laminating tablets can be formed.
2- Low quality tablets that cannot be sold.
3- Difficult to be swollen by the patients.
4- Have low solubility and cannot be easily degraded. Hence, cannot release the active
ingredient at the correct time.
