rencies and create NFTs? Art seems to be moving
FAST, faster than I can keep track of myself.
Everyday I wonder how much further we can take
art. With 3D art softwares like Blender we can make
sculptures on a screen which leads us to be able to
create virtual worlds, I mean have you ever played
a VR game? You are essentially walking around in
an art piece, a completely immersive experience!
These experiences are also available without the
headsets at museums which use projectors, moving
sculptures, and even robots! Performance art has
gone to another level and it seems almost impossi-
ble to see it developing anymore but it will. There is
so much awe involved and it’s all so shocking it re-
ally is hard to see past all that glamour, There are so
many possibilities for art to create an even bigger
footprint on the world we live in and make this plan-
et even more cruel than it is. We need to talk about
this, nothing is all good, not even art. The materials
used to produce all this awe inspiring technology
is mined by child slaves in Africa, those NFTs are in-
creasing our emissions and killing our planet faster,
newer paints equal newer pollutants and factories
to create them. As art progresses so should our ac-
tivism so that this beautiful outlet does not tip the
scales in the wrong direction, art is supposed to
bring beauty not cruelty remember that.
