3.4.1 Direct Appointment

Direct appointments can also be made for jobs, supplies or services worth RM20,000.00.
For work not exceeding RM20,000.00, the agency is authorized to appoint G1 class
contractors from the relevant area.

3.4.2 Requisition

Is an allowance for work value of less than RM50,000.00 for works that do not alter the
original structure of the building. Only open to registered Grade G1 contractors

3.4.3 Quotation
Quotation can be made for jobs exceeding RM50,000.00 to RM20,000.00. For

procurement of supplies and services in excess of RM50,000.00 to RM100,000.00 per
annum, the agency is required to invite quotations among at least five (5) Bumiputera
suppliers registered with MOF in the related field.

Whereas for procurement of supplies and services in excess of RM100,000.00 to
RM200,000.00 per annum, the government agency must invite at least five(5) suppliers
registered by MOF in the related field.

3.4.4 Tender
For income above RM 200,000.00 per annum must be invited either tenderly or openly.

Open Tender is a tender that is open to all contractors / suppliers who are registered
with MOF for supply works.

While for service and supply work it is required to register with CIDB and PKK.
There is also an open tender dedicated to Bumiputera contractors only to participate.
