explore “The Converso & Latino Connection to Israel: Recapturing Your
Roots.” This compelling story of the Sephardic experience began hundreds
of years ago with the Jews of the Iberian Peninsula during a profound pe-
riod of persecution, pogroms and forced conversions (conversos). Part two
of the three-part series highlights three individuals of Sefarad descent who
rediscovered their Jewish identity and became ardent Zionists and leaders
