Birthday Day Off
As a BH Management employee, you are allowed one bonus day off work
each year to celebrate your birthday.
BH Cares
BH Management will provide employees with 8 hours of paid community
service volunteer time each year.
Holidays
BH Management observes certain holidays throughout the year. Full-time
employees who are not on leave of absence are entitled to 8 hours of
holiday pay for their regular hours. Part-time employees who are normally
scheduled to work on an observed holiday will be entitled to pay only for
the number of hours they would have normally worked on that day.
Refer to approved annually prepared Holiday Schedule for observed
dates and ofice closings. Annual holiday calendars will be posted on the Observed Holidays
company intranet on the HR portal and My Home Page in Ultipro. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Memorial Day
Certain holidays may require the property to remain open and run a small
team for the hours designated by management in order to meet business Independence Day
needs. If an employee works on a BH scheduled holiday noted to the Labor Day
right, he or she will be given an alternate day to take as the holiday within Veteran’s Day
the same work week the holiday falls, plus a $100 performance bonus.
Thanksgiving Day
Maintenance team members scheduled for on-call on a BH recognized Day After Thanksgiving
holiday as outlined in the annual holiday calendar are eligible for the
$100 bonus for that day. This applies even if no on-call services were Christmas Eve
performed on that day. Christmas Day
New Year’s Eve
On-call Holiday Pay
Employees scheduled to be on-call during a company paid holiday will New Year’s Day
automatically receive holiday pay in addition to any on-call hours actually
worked for the day.
