Short Term and Long Term Disability
Short Term Disability
Short Term Disability beneits will be determined at the time the disability
period begins and will be based on the years of full-time service as
of the anniversary date of the employee. This beneit is for full-time
employee’s personal non-work related injury, illness, or disability. Short
Term Disability provides an 80 percent beneit of the employee’s base rate
for Exempt Non-Oficers and Non-exempt employees and 100 percent
beneit of the employee’s base rate for Oficer employees.
After three (3) consecutive scheduled workdays of absence, the employee
will be eligible to receive a Short Term Disability beneit based on years of
service as follows:
1 year 5 working days (based on scheduled hours)
2 years 10 working days (based on scheduled hours)
3 years 20 working days (based on scheduled hours)
4 years 30 working days (based on scheduled hours)
5 years or more 60 working days (based on scheduled hours)
During your disability leave, you may be asked to provide periodic updates
on your physician’s statement. You may not return to work without a
written release from your physician.
Long Term Disability
TheBANK will provide eligible employees with Basic Long Term
Disability Coverage at no cost to you. If you become totally disabled, the
LTD Plan will pay 60% of your gross wages up to a maximum beneit
of $10,000 per month. Payments will begin after you have been totally
disabled for 90 days. Long Term Disability provides security to employees
who are unable to continue working due to personal illness.
