        Crag Path along the seafront, for revamped fishermen’s cottages and pastel-coloured houses.

        King Street between Crag Path and the high street for a mix of period homes, from two-bedroom

        flats to four-storey townhouses. The Terrace above the high street. And Park Road, which wraps

        around the back of the town, for detached houses.
        Price range?

        High. The average price for an Aldeburgh property is £538,153, according to Rightmove. In

        prime Aldeburgh two-bedroom character cottages sell for £600,000 to £670,000, with three-

        bedroom period homes going for anywhere between £700,000 and £1.5 million. Further back

        from the high street a three-bedroom semi will sell for about £530,000, while a four-bedroom
        detached on the Church Farm development will be £700,000 to £900,000. However, you can

        find a three-bedroom ex-local authority semi for £380,000 to £390,000 on the edge of town.
