wanting to know if they could speak with both of us. They came to
the room and wanted to know if there was anything they could do to
help save our marriage, and they wanted to hear both of our issues. I
just lost it and began telling all my feelings regarding Ms. Moore and
the drinking. And, of course, “Mr. Perfect Husband” was sticking to
his story about Ms. Moore being just a customer; he still needed to
keep his image. I started screaming for him to admit that she was more
than a customer and, that if she was his friend, he should just say she's
a friend. Crazy then started referring to her as a customer/friend,
which angered me even more. He never validated anything I was
saying, trying to make me look like I was the crazy one.
I guess Walter and Darlene realized there was no hope. They left
and we went to Leroy's mother to say our goodbyes. I know I looked
like I had been in a knock-down-drag-out fight because my eyes were
so swollen from crying the entire weekend.
During the ride back, we probably said three words, if that. When
we arrived home, the renters had sent their notification to leave. I told
Leroy I was going to move back to my condo.
