RECENT NEWS FROM THE SISK TRAINING CENTRE
A very warm welcome to our ten new 1st year
Apprentice Carpenters/Joiners who started in the Sisk
Training Centre on 24 November. We hope you enjoy
being with us, and the combination of study, practical
experience, as well as time on site, makes for a well
rounded start to your careers..

their respective skill areas.
The finals were held between 5-9 December. Paul
Kearney and James McSwiney were in the Joinery final,
and Kevin Ward in the Bricklaying final. They had to
complete test projects to the highest standards, under
pressure from fixed time schedules and to precise
dimensions and controls.
Congratulation to all three Sisk apprentices in
participating in these national competitions in their
chosen trades. And in particular to James, our 3rd year
apprentice carpenter/joiner who WON the joinery final.
You are all a credit to both your teams, and the business.
