Exploring functions from Algebra through

Pre-Calculus using the TI-CX graphing calculator

Provide your students the opportunity to explore and discover the effects changing
parameters has on a parent graph… from linear through trigonometric functions. We

will utilize the graphing app on the TI-Nspire CX to help your students build a

conceptual understanding of transformations. Instructional content for all modes of

teaching and learning will be provided.

ETV and PBS Math Resources for Early Learners

ETV and PBS both offer a variety of early learning math resources to support South
Carolina’s educators, students, and families. This workshop offers an introduction to

all things ETV Education including free, high-quality digital content, standards-based

math lesson plans specific to South Carolina, and free math lessons that incorporate

all well-known, educational, and fun PBS KIDS shows. Come and learn how to

incorporate these resources into your learning community!
