All attendees will learn about the use of graphic organizers in the math classroom

and will make a unique organizer for them. Each participant will also make three

graphic organizers specific to the grade taught (grades 2 - ALG2).

A Look at Hungarian Pedagogy

Analyzing international pedagogies can improve the way educators deliver

information. This session with review an up-and-coming Hungarian method of

teaching math, the Posa method, which emphasizes discovery learning and
problem-solving. As a result of the method, every student enjoys math. How often

do you hear that? Why does the Posa method work? Join us on a "Journey to

Enjoying Mathematics."
