HOW CUSTOMERS PURCHASE ITEMS FROM AMAZON
This is how it looks like when a customer
is purchasing an item. The customer adds
the item to bucket or a cart, open the
cart and click on proceed to checkout.
This is where the customer is allowed to
provide their personal details, including
their bank account info and delivery
options, or addresses.
Amazon calculates the total amount of
money each item in the cart cost. For
instance, if a customer adds two items to
cart for which each cost $ 204, the
website calculates a total of 408 for the
two items in the cart, so that a customer
will know the cost of the two items before adding another item. With the cost of each item purchase,
Amazon gives a free gift cards and 50% discount. The gift card allows a customer to purchase item
without using a credit card. The customer is therefore allowed to enter the secret code at the back of
the gift card. This number is coded into a unit of numbers and letters that simply tells the computer the
total price on the card.
KINDLE BOOKS – AMAZON.COM
After adding the customer´s details, a verification
checks is therefore issued to make sure that the
information provided by the customer is correct and
therefore accurate and there is no errors. If a customer
purchase a pdf book, this kind of file is suitable for a
computer, Amazon uses Kindle to download and install
customer’s purchased item, (the items will be directed
and available in Kindle), so that customers can access
the file where ever they are.
These are the items I recently purchased from Amazon.
It is a pdf file and it is downloaded to Kindle and it
layout is an ebook format. It allows me to read or use
them anywhere I am without internet access. This is much cheaper as there are no internet charges.
If incase I want to return the purchased items, I will have to call Amazon and give them the reasons why
I want the items to be return. Refund is made, about 70 to 90% refunds.
