The Effect of A Training Program for Human Development Based on Fun Learning on
Teaching Practices and Life Skills of Mathematics Teachers in Jordan and Their Program

ABSTRACT

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a training program for human development based
on fun learning on teaching practices and life skills of mathematics teachers and their program
evaluation. The sample consisted of (55) male and female volunteer mathematics teachers from
different cities in Jordan. A training program was designed which consisted of: human development,
teaching practices and fun learning subjects. Questionnaires of teaching practices and life skills were
applied before and after the program, while the program evaluation questionnaire and classroom visits
to observe teaching practices were applied after the program.
The results showed that there is a positive significant effectiveness of the program on the total teaching
practices and on the fields: classroom management and implementation, but there is a positive
insignificant effectiveness of the program on the fields: planning and evaluation. Also, there is a
positive significant effectiveness of the program on the total life skills and the fields: self-management,
positive thinking, communication and problem solving. The program has met a high quality level from
the point of view of the teachers. The study suggested training mathematics teachers on human
development programs based on fun learning.
