Michael Jackson - The Icon

Musically, Michael Jackson is known as the King of Pop.
His music career speaks for itself. His record sales have sur-
passed the sales of legends of the past, such as Elvis Presley
and the Beatles, just to name a few. He is not known through-
out the world as the greatest black entertainer, simply the great-
est. Michael Jackson's fans-young, old, rich, poor, white and
black all know him as the greatest entertainer ever.
Michael Jackson has lived an impeccable life-style since ris-
ing to fame as a child star, unlike other stars who have lived
lives who have been less than perfect-Michael Jackson has
but one vice: bringing happiness to the world, especially to
children. His comments to the allegation of molesting the boy
was, "I would never hurt a child."
Apparently his accusers were ignorant of the facts regard-
ing Michael Jackson, the humanitarian. Michael Jackson raised
over one hundred million dollars through his Dangerous World
Tour and donated all the proceeds to his Heal the World Foun-
dation. He donates many more millions of dollars, as well as
his time, visiting children in hospitals all around the world.
Michael Jackson has been a role model to millions of ador-
ing fans. His fans have a deep love for him and view him as
their hero. One who uplifts them through his music, and en-
courages world peace and love. His song Man In The Mirror
encourages people to make a change by starting with the man
in the mirror. His song We Are the World was a best selling
single and he donated the proceeds to the USA for Africa char-
