ity. Michael Jackson uses his influence and money to help a
hurting world. He does not fit the normal profile of someone
who would molest a child. Just the opposite. He has spent his
life helping innocent children.
Michael Jackson has lived a spotless life until these allega-
tions were levied against him. From the moment they were
made, he was under constant media bashing and the subject
of unfounded rumors by the media trying to portray him as a
sinister evil child molester. The media did, in fact, assassinate
Michael Jackson's character through the child molestation al-
legations by constantly reporting unsubstantiated rumors,
whether true or not, and withholding news that would have
leaned in the singer's favor. For instance, they did not report
that the TWO grand juries, one in Santa Barbara and the other
in Los Angeles, could not find a single credible piece of evi-
dence to indict Michael Jackson of the child molestation
charges. Network and cable TV producers did not interrupt
their normal programming to advise the world that, NO EVI-
DENCE COULD BE FOUND TO INDICT MICHAEL JACK-
SON OF CHILD MOLESTATION, countering their initial re-
ports and accusations. The media, instead, let that news go
unreported and/or did not place the same significance about
bringing the information to light as they had to the more sala-
cious accusations, and they allowed all the allegations of child
molestation to be reported. The earlier reports were allowed
to remain embedded in the minds of millions of Americans
and others throughout the world.
Many say that Michael Jackson is like a child trapped in a
man's body. His Neverland Ranch is similar to a fairy-tale land
which he opens up to hundreds of children each year. Others
say he is living out the childhood that he missed by entering
the entertainment industry at an early age. It is my contention
that because of his megastar multimillion dollar status, who
could Michael Jackson trust? Children are known for their in-
nocence and untarnished love. I believe he feels comfortable
around children because all they want to do is play games and
have fun. They don't place a price tag on their friendship nor a
