other than their spouse. Sex outside of marriage is fornication
and is considered sin in God's eyes. It may not make the six
o'clock news, but there are a lot of Christians who obey these
Biblical laws and refrain from having sex until they are mar-
ried. Not to mention, there are some Christians that take a vow
of abstinence. They vow to remain unmarried and commit their
life to do the work of God. Most Priests and Nuns make this
vow. I'm not saying that Michael Jackson made this type of
vow, but he certainly has been about devoting his life to doing
the work of God by helping underprivileged children around
the world.
Michael Jackson has always acknowledged and referenced
God in his life. He has lived a modeled life-style of Godliness.
His humanitarian actions and deeds tap into the very heart of
God to help someone in need, to feed the poor, to do for the
least and to walk in humility. These characteristics are the very
characteristics of Godliness. "He loved the whole world that
he gave.... his only begotten son." "Jesus came and gave his
life so mankind could live." The Bible says "there is no greater
gift than for a man to lay down his life for another."
It never bothered me that Michael Jackson was not mar-

Jackson's oldest brother, Jackie, first announced that he was
engaged while the group was at the height of their early ca-
reer. Michael Jackson's response was, "how can you do that to
our fans." Michael Jackson felt that getting married was some-
how letting down his loving and adoring fans. When he gets
out on the stage to perform, he takes his fans on a musical
ecstasy - tantalizing their every fantasy, including the idea of
him being every girls' dream. If only just for a moment.
After the child molestation allegations had been ongoing
for several months, Michael Jackson spoke candidly to the
world in a televised statement broadcast live from his
Neverland Ranch on December 22, 1993. He informed millions
of people worldwide of how he had suffered at the hands of
the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department by being sub-
