As previously stated, on Wednesday, August 4, 1993, Dr.
Chandler, his 13-year old son, Mr. Pellicano and Michael Jack-
son all met at the Westwood Marquis Hotel to discuss Dr.
Chandler's allegations. It was at this meeting that Dr. Chan-
dler made his intentions known to Michael Jackson concern-
ing his twenty million dollar demand in exchange for not go-
ing public with his allegations of child molestation. It must be
noted that Dr. Chandler did execute his plan after Michael Jack-
son failed to pay the twenty million dollars demanded. Also
note that Dr. Chandler never publicly announced his suspi-
cion of child molestation against Michael Jackson. The infor-
mation was leaked to the media after the psychiatrist made a
child sexual abuse report to the Department of Children's Ser-
vices.
Dr. Chandler stated in his conversation with Mr. Schwartz
that he was prepared to go forward with, "evidence that he
claimed he had on Jackson." At the August 4, 1993 meeting
with Mr. Pellicano and Michael Jackson, the only evidence Dr.
Chandler had against Michael Jackson was a letter from Dr.
Abrams giving Mr. Rothman advice about a hypothetical ques-
tion that he queried him on previously and Dr. Chandler's
mere, "threat of going public" with that advice. Dr. Chandler
used this as a bargaining tool to demand twenty million dol-
lars from Michael Jackson to keep quiet. When the meeting
broke up, Mr. Pellicano said Dr. Chandler pointed his finger
at Michael Jackson and said, "I'm going to ruin you!"
