What Reporters Were

Dying To Know

While the news media and tabloids were having a field day
with the numerous witnesses who were coming forth against
Michael Jackson, not much was being reported from the Chan-
dler camp. But there were a lot of interesting things taking
place:

Bomb Threats: The phones were still ringing off the wall
from news media and reporters. The office started receiving
threatening phone calls directed at Mr. Rothman. One day we
received a bomb threat. Of course, Mr. Rothman would not
allow us to leave the office. Even Mr. Rothman began coming
to the office with extreme caution. Right after receiving the
bomb threat Mr. Rothman decided to take a weeks vacation. I
was told that this was his first vacation in five years.

Chandler Stake Out: Right after the allegations hit the news
media, everyone was looking for Dr. Chandler. The media
found out where he lived and were staking out his residence.
Dr. Chandler and the boy came to our office to take shelter.
While everyone was looking for Dr. Chandler and his son, they
were held up at our office. They spent the night in the confer-
ence room located just a few feet in front of my desk. To me
Dr. Chandler appeared to be a nervous wreck. He paced back
and forth and was biting everyone's head off. At one point I
