Insulated Jackets
GENERAL INFORMATION
Purpose: Insulate fan surface from high
temperature, condensation or sound. It also can
be used as a safety device to protect personnel
from injury.
Construction
• 2” thick jacket around entire fan housing
including housing surface inside the pedestal
High Temp Applications use a Cooler • Insulation type: Type “E” & Low Density
Box. Insulated Jacket wraps around Fiberglass - alone or in combination depending
cooler box.
on application
• Jacket removed in pieces and labeled accordingly
for shipment
• Jacket to be easily opened or removed to gain
access to various fan accessories: access doors,
drains, housing splits, lifting lugs, shaft and
bearing guards, pedestals, inlet boxes, frame
angles, shaft seals.
