or at night. You might want to ask if police have put up roadblocks yet. If the area has a high traffic flow
consider requesting one. If you find yourself on a curve, place some road flares several feet down the road
to warn oncoming traffic to slow down. If you can, have an officer help you keep traffic at bay while you
work.

Safe Words Are Safe Staff
Think about having a safe word. It may sound silly but if you or your partner ever have the feeling your
lives are in danger, uttering that simple word or words could save your lives. Try coming up with
something simple yet memorable that will get each other’s attention.

Your ​Own Health
Don't forget to drink plenty of water and take scheduled meal breaks. Working hard to save the citizens of
Los Santos can be a hard job sometimes but you are only human. Exhausting your body and ignoring your
own health is just as dangerous to you, your partner, and even your patients safety as any injury. Be sure
to take care of yourself out there.
