Kristy Giarratano as Emergency

Department Director

Coral Gables Hospital welcomes Kristy Giarratano as its
new hospital emergency department director.
Giarratano has more than eight years of experience provid-
ing emergency department care. For the last year, she served
as the interim assistant director of nursing at New York Kristy Giarratano
Health and Hospitals. Giarratano was responsible for 130
nurses and collaborated with leadership to compose and update the facility policies
and procedures.
Giarratano earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas.
She is also a member of the Emergency Nurses Association, American Nurses
Association and the American Organization of Nurse Executives.
