INTRODUCTION
Our education system as a country has shortcomings with regards to what needs to
be done and how these remedies can be implemented. Given our historical
background as a country, we can agree that the remedies that are already in place are
not “one size fits all”. Different contexts are aligned with different remedies. By
remedies we are talking about strategies that are put in place to ensure that our
schools are ideal, with ideal learners and teachers and to ultimately to ensure that
education of sound quality is being given to the learners. However, the needs of each
schools are different and as such different strategies ae used to address these
individual needs. It is for this reason that the ideal teacher we feel is needed in Jabulani
Technical high is directly aligned with the context of the school.
