Talk with your doctor about whether physical therapy
could help you. Physical Therapy will seek to restore
the normal functions of the cervical region including
range of motion and muscular strength, and may
also address any muscle spasms and postural deficits
that may be present. Most importantly, your physical
therapist will provide you with the cause of your
diagnosis, issue an appropriate home exercise
program, recommend home treatments including
hot packs and cold packs, and your medical doctor
may recommend over the counter medicine to
alleviate your pain at home.
