Page 64 - Pearls of Perception (eBook)
P. 64
It is like standing on a train platform at rush-hour. If you are going to
run around trying to find some peace, all you’ll manage to do is bump
into people and create more chaos. But if you are willing to stay still
and wait patiently for the crowd to scatter, you’ll eventually have
peace right where you are. I know, you may have to wait some time
before that happens and people will bump into you anyway, but it’s
the only way in which you’ll get to experience truly immovable peace
- peace right where you stand.
So stop trying to escape your misery, and rather embrace it. Love
your misery; love your difficulties; love your obstacles. They are there
only to steer you on the right path. Nobody ever screwed up by truly
loving and truly accepting things as they are. You cannot go wrong
with that.
