things are going. If you are, then why the heck are you reading this
thing?
The world is much like this mirror that we’re talking about. In fact, it
is precisely that, a mirror. The most beautiful mirror you’ll ever lay
your eyes on. And, just like any mirror, its job is to reflect the imagine
of your being. Whether it’s an imagine of physical nature or one of
psychological nature, it reflects everything with no exception. You
can try to hide from it, trying on all sorts of costumes and putting on
all kinds of masks, but sooner or later, you will have to face it direct-
ly. And when that moment comes, depending on how long you’ve
been hiding, on how many layers of protection you've been adding, it
can be more or less painful to see your true face again. Again, it de-
pends solely on you.
It’s kind of crazy when you think about it: even though we all know
that moment of confronting ourselves directly is inevitable, we con-
tinue to act as if it’s not. We continue to live our lives pretending that
depression and anxiety are not breathing down our necks. Oh, but
they are. War is not that far away. Destruction is not that far away.
Suffering is not just something that happens only to “other people”.
If we keep on denying all these signs, we should get ready to suffer
the consequences. And there will be consequences, they always are.
So why lose any more time?
Take a look at your own costumes and masks, at the whole bag of
tricks.
Are they really yours?
And if not, to whom do they belong?
