GOAL 5

Continue to evaluate whether KEC courses and programs

are preparing students to be college and career ready
when they leave KEC.

Objectives:

5.1) Continue to use student surveys as another piece of data

for the staff in their self-reflection and class evaluation

process

5.2) Implement the Career Essentials Assessment for all CTE
courses

5.3) Evaluate all standardized testing pieces available through

the CTE State Report Card

5.4) Work with post secondary partners to assess whether
students leaving KEC are successful in same track courses

as they were at KEC

5.5) Continue to promote SkillsUSA participation and evaluate
student performance at state and national competitions

5.6) Continue to seek industry certifications to help prepare

students for job opportunities and to use as a benchmark
for career readiness
