Strategic Plan – 2023-2024

GOAL 1

Provide programs that meet the needs of the

sending schools and business community.

Objectives:

1.1) KEC Director, Special Projects Coordinator, and other KEC

administrators increase dialogue with community
businesses, local chambers, and sending schools about

current and future employment opportunities

1.2) All KEC Administrators will belong to a community
organization

1.3) Enhance job-shadowing for students which leads to

connection with community businesses

1.4) Establish a committee that incorporates community
business leaders for each of the career pathways

1.5) Continue to partner and collaborate with sending districts,

alternative education programs, and area career centers to
learn and share best practices

1.6) Continue to facilitate advisory committees with college and

business partners to evaluate and improve programs
