GOAL 4

Continue to increase parent, community, and sending school

participation in curriculum and program development.

Objectives:

4.1) Continue to enhance classroom websites for interaction
with staff and to get updates on class activities week-to-

week

4.2) Increase parent involvement through parent teacher
conferences, showcase of skills nights, social media

communication, and advisory committees

4.3) Improve curriculum and application through projects and
the infusion of technology, including one-to-one capability

and Google Classrooms

4.4) Build relationships between administrative staff at KEC,

sending schools counselors/administration, and higher
education institutions and regularly evaluate those

relationships

4.5) Continue to evolve professional learning communities and
incorporate social-emotional learning and application of

skills through Illinois Learning Standards

4.6) Continue to inform consortium districts, parents, and
business community of KEC “goings-on” through social

media, newsletters, General Partnership Luncheons, and
presentations at monthly principal and counselor meetings

4.7) Continue to hold and host community events at KEC
