                                                                 对于机构在金融创新中的应用进行了大量实例探讨。 HAN MEI
                                                                 在论坛中分享了自己从美国谷歌公司转行业去到平安公司的经
                                                                 历,并表示 AI 的理论研究很好地应用到现实问题的解决上;
                                                                 JOSHUAH 在谈及数据科学的时候表示金融行业而言,数据的
                                                                 最终价值,反应到更优质的客户服务和信息供给上。YANMEI
                                                                 ZHUO 在发言中指出,帮助银行在疫情期间有更好的经营也是
                                                                 金融科技的价值和关键,人工智能在反欺诈上的应用能够给银

                                                                 加拿大那满地可银行(Bank of Montreal)风险资本分析高级经
                                                                 理 WEI HONG主持的人才话题同样干货满满,美国国际集团 AIG
                                                                 国际市场人力资源总监 MAGGIE ZHANG,皇后大学史密斯商
                                                                 学院职业教育和辅导经理 PAULINA NOZKA 一起就金融人才在
                                                                 疫情中自我管理以及疫情后职场机会驾驭及不同企业文化等话
                                                                 题做了深入探讨。MAGGIE ZHANG 分享了自己应对疫情在家
                                                                 工作和学习的建议,指出设立好每日计划,并遵照执行非常的
                                                                 重要。PAULINA  则分享加拿大的文化差异时说到,让别人认
                                                                 识自己,保有专长的重要。

                                                                 Panel 2: Fintech- Applied Machine Learning in Financial
                                                                 Institutions
                                                                 Over the  past  decade,  breakthroughs  in  big  data,  AI  and machine
                                                                 learning algorithms have led to a "Cambrian Explosion" in the field
                                                                 of  financial  technology.  Dr.  YANAN  WU,  the  moderator  of  the
                                                                 second panel, is also a leading financial innovator in China. Speakers
                                                                 included  MEI  HAN,  Director  at  Ping  An's  American  Research
                                                                 Institute, JOSHUAH TOUYZ, Data science Manager at Capital One,
                                                                 and  YANMEI  ZHUO,  Senior  Director  of  Advanced  Analytics
                                                                 Solutions  and  Insights  at  CIBC.  The  speakers  discussed  many
                                                                 practical examples of advanced machine learning being utilized in
                                                                 retail  and  institutional  applications.  Dr.  HAN  MEI  shared  her
                                                                 experience of moving from Google to Ping An Group, and her current
                                                                 work in theoretical research in artificial intelligence to help resolve
                                                                 issues around insurance claims and other challenges. Speaking more
                                                                 broadly  on  data  science,  Dr.  JOSHUAH  TOUYZ  noted  that  the
                                                                 ultimate value of data should be reflected in better customer service
                                                                 and  information  delivery.  Helping  banks operate  better during  the
                                                                 pandemic is also a core value-add of machine learning, as YANMEI
                                                                 ZHUO alluded in her discussion on how a smarter anti-fraud system
                                                                 can help banks achieve a more sustainable growth.

                                                                 Panel 3: Talent & Career Development – Be certain during the
                                                                 times of uncertainty

                                                                 WEI HONG, senior manager from the Bank of Montreal, hosted the
                                                                 third panel on career development with MAGGIE ZHANG, CHRO
                                                                 from  AIG  International  Market  and  PAULINA  NOZKA  from  the
                                                                 Smith Business School at Queen's University. The speakers discussed
                                                                 some observations on the current job market, gave insightful tips on
                                                                 how  to  approach  one’s  career  and  how  to  deal  with  a  changing
                                                                 workplace culture. MAGGIE suggested having a daily work plan as
                                                                 an effective way to work from home. PAULINA covered some of
                                                                 Canada's most common cultural differences and says it's important to
                                                                 continue  to  be  noticed  by  your  co-workers  by  being  helpful  and
                                                                 unique in your contributions.
