“GRANDFATHERING” OF EMPLOYEES:
Some locations may have a “grandfathered” PTO policy.
Eligible employees seeking policy clarification or have
questions should speak with their manager or Human
Resources Representative.
HOLIDAYS
Full-time employees are eligible for holiday pay. The
Company observes seven paid holidays and one paid
floating holiday each year to be used at the employee’s
discretion with supervisor/manager approval. For employees
based in other countries, Tegra recognizes the country’s
holiday schedule approved by the government and/or
negotiated in specific Collection Bargaining Agreements.
If a Company observed holiday occurs during your
scheduled paid time off, and you are eligible for holiday pay,
the time will be paid as a holiday.
Depending on the nature of your specific responsibilities,
you may be asked to work on some of the Company’s
recognized holidays. If you are a non-exempt employee, and
the Company requests that you work during a Company
holiday, you are paid for all regular hours worked on that
day plus you will receive holiday pay for that day. If you
work more than 40 hours that week, exclusive of the holiday
(or, if you worked on the holiday, inclusive of the holiday),
you are paid overtime for all actual hours worked in excess
of 40. For more detailed information, please contact your
Human Resources Representative to obtain a copy of Tegra’s
Holiday policy.
MEALS AND REST BREAKS
Tegra provides employees meal and rest (as applicable)
breaks throughout the work day in compliance with local,
state and federal law. Please check with your manager or
Human Resources Representative for the Meals and Break
Policy at your specific work location.
