P. 12
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of
1990 and other federal, state and local laws, Tegra makes
reasonable accommodations to allow qualified employees
and applicants with disabilities to perform the essential
functions of their jobs. Employees and applicants who seek
reasonable accommodations should notify their Human
Resources representative of their specific limitations
and, if known, their specific requested accommodations.
Managers must direct all accommodation requests to
their local Human Resources or Employee Relations
representative. Employees will be asked to supply medical
documentation of the need for accommodation. All medical
information provided shall be maintained in separate files
and shall be kept confidential. Employees are encouraged
to request accommodations before any disability interferes
with their work.
The Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008
(GINA) prohibits employers from requesting genetic
information about an employee and his/her family. To
comply with this law, Tegra asks that you not provide
any genetic information to any Tegra employee. ‘Genetic
information’ includes family medical history, results of
genetic tests, information that an individual sought or
received genetic services, and genetic information of a
fetus.
NON-HARASSMENT
Tegra is committed to providing a workplace that is free
from intentional or unintentional sexual harassment or
harassment on the basis of any protected classification
including, but not limited to race, gender, color, religion,
sexual orientation, gender identification/orientation,
gender expression, age, national origin, disability, medical
condition, genetic information, marital status, veteran
status or on any other basis protected by law. Such
conduct is unprofessional, inappropriate, and generally
considered bad for business. Consequently, all conduct of
this nature is expressly prohibited, regardless of whether it
violates any law.
