EMPLOYEE SECURITY/INSPECTION
It is Tegra’s policy to safeguard employees, visitors and
property employed with Company operations. Employees
must immediately report to their supervisor, process leader
or facility manager, any suspicious circumstances or conduct
that may affect the safety or security of employees, visitors,
the facility or property. While Tegra endeavors to provide
security, it cannot be responsible for loss or damage to
personal property of employees or others.
Tegra reserves the right to conduct searches and inspections
and video surveillance of Company property, employees,
lockers, desks, office, cubicles, and other work areas,
parking lots, motor vehicles, (whether locked or unlocked)
and personal effects; for example, purses, briefcases
and packages that are brought onto Company property
(including buildings, grounds, and parking lots) and/or
are used in the conduct of Company business. Subject
to applicable law, such searches and inspections may be
conducted at the sole discretion of Tegra from time to time
without prior announcement and may remove locks to do
so. Employees are expected to cooperate in the conduct
of any search or inspection. Refusal to consent to such
an inspection may result in disciplinary action up to and
including termination. A Human Resources Representative
or location senior management shall authorize any search or
inspection before it is conducted.
DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE POLICY
Tegra has adopted and implemented a Drug-Free Workplace
Policy, which is designed to prevent the unlawful use,
possession, sale or distribution of illicit drugs and alcohol
by employees on Company premises. The policy has been
implemented in compliance with The Drug-Free Workplace
Act of 1988.
