INTERNAL PROCEDURES
AREAS USED IN COMMON
To arrange for the use of areas used in common, reserve time on the master calendar. After use, please
restore these areas to their proper condition. Examples include, but not limited to the following:
• Reserved Areas: Stedman and Greene Auditoriums
• General Areas: Rigorous policing of these areas is the responsibility of the faculty in charge.
• Outdoor Eating: Division Heads
• Cooking Projects: Faculty are responsible for seeing that the Rentschler kitchen is left clean and that
utensils are put away.
• Corridor Walls - Display Spaces: Students may use only designated spaces for posting signs, pictures,
etc. Faculty should exercise judgment in their own use of display space and in the quality of any
material posted.
CARE OF SCHOOL EQUIPMENT (including Summer Programs)
The Business Office is responsible for all school property. Losses or breakage should be reported immediately
to the Business Office. If the damage or loss is the fault of a student or students, the matter should be
reported to the Division Head (or the camp director) for appropriate action and billing.
FACULTY AND STAFF PARKING
The Chief Financial Officer assigns faculty and staff parking on an annual basis. Spaces are assigned based on
proximity to work location.
FACULTY AND STAFF USE OF FACILITIES
Renbrook facilities are generally available to employees for personal use during non-school and non-camp
hours. These include indoor spaces, tennis courts, and fields. The pond, pools, and ropes course are not
available. It is advisable to contact the Director of Operations prior to any spontaneous use at unusual times.
Employees making such use of facilities assume full responsibility for their guests' and their own safety, and
for securing areas used. A set of guidelines is available which includes a certification of liability involving a fee.
Specific information can be obtained from the Business Office.
