DRIVER AGREEMENT FORMS
When transporting a Renbrook student (other than your own child), the school is required to have a Driver
Agreement form on file for anyone who uses a personal vehicle. Proof of insurance is required, as well as a
driver history from DMV. Downloadable forms are available on FirstClass Client: go to the desktop, click on the
Handbook/Plans icon, and then on the HR Forms section of the Business Office Forms icon. Completed forms
are maintained at the Reception Desk.
EMPLOYEE ABSENCE AND SUBSTITUTES
All employees should inform their Division Head and administrative assistant about an impending absence as
soon as possible; the faculty are responsible for obtaining a substitute for classes when one is needed using
the Google Form titled Substitute Form. All employees are expected to notify their supervisor and the
front desk if they will be absent or it is necessary for them to leave the campus during the school
day.
THE EVALUATION PROCESS
Faculty
Our core mission is to help all of our students fulfill their unique potential. We provide a rigorous enriched
program of academic excellence in which students from diverse backgrounds can develop skills in a supportive
and nurturing environment.
Our students strengthen their sense of self through many kinds of achievement; they learn to take appropriate
risks and to respect the rights of the individual as well as the needs of the group.
In order to accomplish this all, our evaluation framework begins with defining "best practices." Our evaluation
process is characterized by our mission, vision, shared values, and professional goals. We operate under the
assumption that the key to increased learning for students is through continuous, job-embedded learning for
educators.
Faculty evaluation is an essential part for ensuring our individual and collective success as a school. Our
process includes systematic ways in which administrators and faculty communicate about performance,
expectations, and efforts. It is also used to coach and guide faculty towards continuous improvement. The
most compelling reason we have for taking the evaluation process seriously is a moral one: it's the right thing
to do for our faculty and for our students.
Best Practices
Our criteria and rubrics are designed to give teachers consistent performance feedback, as well as detailed
guidance on how to continuously improve. They are not checklists. To knowledgeably assess the criteria,
evaluators will be in classrooms frequently throughout the year. Unannounced mini-observations followed by
face-to-face conversations are the best way for evaluators to have an accurate sense of teachers’
performance, give growth-producing feedback, and listen to teachers’ perspectives.
