“Settlement” is knowledge heritage developed when founding a city, which has been handed down from the past.
It began with the building of homes for survival, engaging in joint activities and developing into a city
containing a community center and groups of people responsible for administration, economic, social and cultural affairs.
Each community had its own characteristics which were different from each other. These communities were subsequently
integrated into a country or became a source of civilization for the region where it had evolved over time under the environmental
and technological conditions of each community. In brief, “a settlement environment” involves
“a geographical condition” as well as “settlement condition” of each local community, or “geographical settlement”.
