It will be used to spark curiosity, encourage
questions, and deepen understanding of the
building blocks of matter. As both a display and a
teaching tool, it offers a unique, interactive way
to explore chemical properties and trends across
the periodic table. We hope it will inspire the next
generation of scientists in our classrooms.
Biology and Psychology
Symposium
Millfield hosted its annual Biology and Psychology
Symposium, welcoming Sixth Form students
alongside guests from local schools and colleges.
This year also marked the first Junior Symposium,
giving Year 11 students early exposure to 01
discussions in science and psychology.
Chinese Food Festival
The Chinese Food Festival is one of the most
popular and eagerly anticipated annual events
among students, held as part of Chinese New
Year celebrations. The three-day event attracted
hundreds of participants, including students from
the Chinese course, international students from
China, Millfield Prep pupils, young children from
local Mandarin clubs, and staff members across
the schools.
Attendees enjoyed sampling and learning to make
authentic Chinese dishes and drinks, such as
dumplings, bao buns, egg-fried rice, and traditional
Chinese tea. The event left a lasting impression on 02
students’ school experience and sparked a passion committee’s debates on the Rwandan genocide 01 Periodic Table of Elements
