You have no worries with your sleep during menopause. This means your ‘go-to-
sleep’ hormone melatonin levels are fairly well balanced in menopause. But it
doesn’t mean that you don’t have other symptoms. Maybe you are putting on
weight and have low energy levels despite not sleeping. If this is the case, then
your symptoms of weight gain are caused by insulin disruption, which is the
hormone that stabilises your blood sugar. This occurs because your liver health is
suffering as you age.
