Anyone who has seen or grown a beautiful,

            healthy garden knows that the garden's vibrance is


            not due solely to the plants. For the plants to thrive

            and prosper, they need a healthy environment in


            which to grow. The human brain is no different.

            While conventional medical theory focusses on the


            state of specific nerve cells (neurons) of the brain

            in Parkinson's disease, it is important to remember


            that these neurons do not exist in isolation.  Like

            the plants in a garden, the environment in which the
